Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

PA DWI penalties

My daughter is involved with a young man (now 21) who had his drivers license suspended for 15 years for a DWI at age 16. I don't think he has told her the full story. Is that a typical penalty for that offense in PA? What might be a more likely scenario? Thank you.

Re: PA DWI penalties

In California the penalty for a minor DWI is usually between 6 months or until the minor turns 18. Even though laws differ from state to state I seriously doubt that a penalty for a DWI in any state would be 15 years. I would contact the local DA and ask what kind of offense would inur a 15 year suspension of driving privileges. Good luck.
