Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
under the pa.r.civil.p.rule205.1 the initiationof an action in assumpsit/trespass is filed with the prothonotary of the common pleas court. along with the original (4) copies were also sent for processing purposes. after the complaint is filed, would it be the duty of the prothonotary clerk to contonue this process by forwarding the original complaint to the sheriffs dept. to be serviced pursuant to pa. r. civil p/ rule 400?

No you take the copies to be served and the money it cost to serve them to the Sheriff Dept.
So you're filing an action in Assumpsit or Trespass? That would be wrong you file a Civil Action.
Once filed you must serve the opposing party or parties. That can be carried out by the sheriff. by mail (lots of rules) or by personal service.
Unless you're a newbie attorney you're probably in over your head.
