Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
This is more of a four part question. Someone is using my drivers license info. It appears that they have uplicated my license with my info and their pics. I have had what appears like five separate instances--four ocurring this summer. Two people have been caught. One recently plead guilty. He is a semi-pro basketball player--for whatever that's worth. Anither is currenyly being prosecuted Question: can I sue him in small claims court for using my identity? If so for how much and on what grounds? Can what can I base the claim on besides money lost from work attending court (ie pain suffering). I sorry but I was going to try to do the small claims thing without a lawyer since its not required and I am not sure ill get much (max is $10K). Also, there are a couple other instances where the perps who using my license have not been identified but the vehicles and owners of the vehicle have. Is it possible to sue them in small claims? And on what grounds? Any info will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Correction the max is $8K. Further if either party is unhappy with the DJ decision they can appeal to the Common Pleas Court and get a whole new trial. In Common Pleas you don't have to have an attorney but you will need one.
