Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
I am pro se plaintiff submitting today to the Prothonotary a motion for leave to file first amended complaint. Do I attach the amended complaint to the motion? Seems odd, since I do not yet have permission to file it.

Yes. The court wants to see the proposed amended complaint before granting your motion. Also include a proposed Order, that should read as follows:
AND NOW, this day of , 2011, Plaintiff's Motion to File an Amended Complaint is granted.
