Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
I am in the process of appealing a grade given to me by my nursing program in my final semester. While in the middle of this process I have received in the mail my official diploma stating I have earned an associate of science in nursing degree. If this was sent as a mistake, do I have way of fighting for it?

What was the grade? Did you have enough to pass and earn your diploma/degree even with the bad grade? If so, it is not a mistake. If the appeal is successful, you will get a higher grade and have a higher GPA which will not matter in the real world.
I do not handle education law, so I am not the best person to ask. If I received the degree, I would contact them and make sure that it is not an error. If it is an error, then you need to wait until your appeal is decided as it might affect the decision and allow you to keep the degree. If you lose, then you need to see what you can do to get the degree - extra credits, another class, whatever it will take. I would not just keep quiet about it. Things have a nasty way of coming back to haunt you in life and that is not what you want.
