Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

I purchased 2007 Grand Prix from a car salesman in NJ, I live in phila. I have had problems with this car since purchasing it, I have no warranty. Now I found out it has a cracked engine and the transmission is going. Is there any legal action to make them accountable for selling me a lemon? I don't qualify for "The Lemon Law" act.

Please HELP ME!

Depending on the circumstances you may have a claim based on fraud. Unfortunately you may have to sue in the NJ court system if the seller was in NJ & the deal was done in NJ. Also, these cases are hard to do for a non-lawyer, even in a small claims type of case. The Phila Bar Assoc (http://www.philadelphiabar.org) has a lawyer referral service. For a small fee you will get I think a 1/2 hour consultation. I suggest you call & ask for a referral to an attorney with experience in consumer fraud who also practices in NJ. The consultation should help you, & that lawyer may also be willing to take the case. You may also want to call attorney Dave Gorberg, 1-800-695-3666, who does lemon law cases, but I think also does consumer fraud cases in NJ. If you strike out on those 2 suggestions get back to me I may be able to refer you to a NJ lawyer who handles these types of cases.
