Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
Question
My friend had false accusations printed about him in a article in our local newspaper. He was being written about his assault charge but the article added some untrue statements about my friend. what would be the right way to approach this is a legal manner.

Ask that they print a retraction. Lawsuits are a bad way to handle defamation unless you have a lot of actual damages and a lot of money to spend on lawyers.
