Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
Is Anyone Willing To Review My Written Claim For My Civil Complaint
I have a civil complaint I am filing with the Magisterial District Court. It is only 12 lines long and 179 words. Would anyone be willing to review/proofread it to be sure that there is nothing important I should include or unnecessary that I should take out? I want it to be short, clear, concise, and sufficient. I could take it to an attorney for review, but this would take five minutes maximum. Do attorneys charge by the minute? ;-)

Re: Is Anyone Willing To Review My Written Claim For My Civil Complaint
An attorney can charge any number of ways for his work. Generally on a time basis billable time is earned on a tenth of an hour basis (.1 Hours or 6 minutes). The first second of work triggers the first .1hr. at 6 minutes and 1 second the second tenth begins etc.. Some lawyers charge on a flat fee basis. For example the lawyer may offer to represent a party for $500 for a "simple" divorce, it may take the lawyer 1 hour to prepare and review documents or it might take him 20 hrs if a complication comes up. I offer free consultations. My contact information is in my profile.
