Situation mother has a daughter age 23 brought here on a visa, trying to move out. she will not give her any of her stuff. can she do this ?

Hi, and Happy New Year,
In answer to your question, if the daughter has an A-1 visa which is issued to permanent residents, the daughter can move out and live anywhere she wants. In fact, even if she is present in the United States on a valid B-1 or B-2 visa, she can live wherever she wants. Therefore, the mother cannot withhold any of the daughter's personal belongings.
