Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

slander

In a review form an upper managment person of my performance, he made a coment that refered to me as ''insane'' He made it as a reference to a meeting he attended in the past, but it was in reference to the way I performed my job. He then sent this out to upper managment people via E-mail. This in turn put the icing on the cake to me being fired. Can I sue for defamation of character?

Re: slander

Slander cases are very difficult to win in court. You would have to prove that you were fired because of the slander and for no other reason. You should really consult with a lawyer to explain all of the facts to see if you have a case.
