Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

sold used car on e-bay

I live in Arizona, 10 weeks ago I sold a 28 year old truck on e-bay for $8500 to a man in Pa. Yesterday I received a civil action hearing notice from a Pa. District Court, the plaintiff is asking for $8000. Plantiff states that the truck is the wrong color, brakes are bad, chip in window.... I was told by the court clerk that if I inter a defence a court date will be scheduled, and I must appear in court. If i don't inter a defence a default judgement will be entered against me. I am not a car dealer, and do not have the time to appear in court 2000 miles away from home. What can I do?
