Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

im being sued by a credit card co. i thought an unsecured card means they cant seize your property or assets im out of work and dont have any money what can they do

You need to defend against the lawsuit. If this is a collection agency that is pursuing you, you need to come up with a few hundred dollars to hire a consumer attorney. Collection agencies are beaten almost every time by a good consumer attorney.

If they get a judgment, they may be able to expose your assets to public sale, or to garnish your bank account.

I agree with the previous reply you received. An unsecured card just means there is no "security" for the "loan" provided to you. For example, if you have a mortgage when you buy a home that is a secured loan on the real estate. The card co can sue you & may be able to attach your bank account or other assets if you don't defend. Contact the lawyer referral service of the Bar Assoc in your county. They should have a list of lawyers who will rep you for a reduced fee. Good luck!!
