Im going to be sued!
Hello, neautoauction is a seller of cars on eBay. They listed a car for sale that had major issues that were not listed in the auction description. I bought the car and went to go pick it up. When I did I saw that it had major problems with the engine and transmission and many other things. I asked for a refund on my $300 deposit and they said I would have to sue them to get it. Instead I created the website AuctionPinch. Its a forum where people posted their similar stories about neautoauction. The company said they will now sue me for slander. Do they have a case? I did not post anything to they site myself, I just created. Other people posted their stories which are all true. Thanks!

The question is as owner of the web site do you have any responsibility for what is posted there?
Without some intense research I could not say.
If they do sue you your defense would be its not slander as you can show the statements are true. Its more likely libel than slander because you "published" it.
More than likely they will have to come here to sue you. Though here could be federal or state court. Depending on a number of factors including how much they sue you for.
That said they could sue you. Whether they can win is another matter.
