Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
Did work but didn't get paid
I did some drywall work for a contractor in someones house. When i finished the job i ask about the pay, he said he would mail it. So two weeks go by and no check. I have been trying to call him for a month now and no response. What legal actions do i take at this point.

The filing you need to make is a Mechanic's Lien. You file it with the Prothonotary for the county in which the work was done.
