Legal Question in Immigration Law in Pennsylvania

Have green card - can wife withdraw application?

I decided to leave my wife after almost three years of marriage. I had overstayed my visa by a year when we married. She filed for my green card, and I left her four months after I received it in the mail. We had been married just over two years when we went for our first and only interview with immigration, and they granted me permanent status. However, at the time we went for our interview we had only lived together for a year and a half, because a year after we married I separated from her for a period of six months. None of this was asked during the interview.

Now my wife wants to withdraw her application for me, as she believes I married her just to get a permanent residence status here. Can she do this even though I have my permanent card? What options do I have?

Re: Have green card - can wife withdraw application?

Your wife can report if there was a fraud with your marriage. You can prepare for the defense by collecting evidence to show you entered the marriage in good faith, but the marriage did not work out.
