Legal Question in Immigration Law in Pennsylvania

My husband was born in Honduras, but his father was born in Puerto Rico and lived there until he was almost 18 years old. We are having immigration issues--trying to get him to stay here. Someone told me that if we prove that his father is from Puerto Rico and grew up there--we can make all these immigration issues go away. Is this true? What would we need to prove it- a DNA test and his birth certificate?

You will need to prove not only that your husband's father is really his father but also that your husband's father grew up in Puerto Rico, the dates, and whether or not he actually has a U.S. passport or eligibility for one. This is a complicated matter and I would hope that you are being represented by an experienced immigration attorney. If not please feel free to contact me at the numbers listed below.
