Legal Question in Immigration Law in Pennsylvania
I am inquiring about eligibility for the K-1 Fiance Visa. My main area of concern is demonstrating financial support. I have read that the minimum amount of required income is 125% of the poverty line for two people (about $18,300). How many consecutive years must I meet this minimum requirement? Are the total earnings of a particular year limited to earnings statements on W-2 and 1099 forms or can other sources of income be included in the total amount earned for a given year. (For instance, in one particular year a percentage of my earnings was obtained via private music lessons.)
