Legal Question in Immigration Law in Pennsylvania
J-1 to green card
I'm in the US on a J-1 visa with no 2 year return clause. I have a month extension at the end during which I plan to get married to me US citizen fiance. Is the I-130 the best way to start the immigration process or should I be looking to use adjustment of status paperwork. Also I plan to visit my home country next month for vacation. Will the fact that I return already knowing that I will be getting married be a problem when it comes to filing immigration papers.(I.E. would I have to give my initial I-94 card number when the visa started for date entry or the second one I get when I return from home)

Contact an immigration attorney, this question is too specific for an online quick answer board.
