Legal Question in Immigration Law in Pennsylvania

Pending change of status

My wife came to US on K-1 visa, we got married here. I filed for adjustment of status, INS held interview in Oct 2000. during interview, INS asked for updated immunization records for my wife. These were given to INS within 30days, INS verified receipt. INS officer promised an update in 3months..but no update as of yet. Fingerprints were renewed in 05/02 Repeated visit to INS have been useless. Any legal remedy for this situation. I am looking for attorney that can handle this case. Petition was filed with the Phila office.

Re: Pending change of status

You are better of hiring a local attroney...who will follow through and will make appeareances if necessary. I practice imm. law in LA. I can write letter on your behalf, etc. I have done immigration work for out of state clients but it is not convenient.
