Legal Question in Insurance Law in Pennsylvania
illegal insurance pratices
recently i had purchased life insurance polcies on mywife, mydaughter, and myself. while i was filling out the paperwork for the policies there was a place for my wife to sign the agent told me it was ok to sign for her since she was my wife i asked him if he was sure three times and he reassured me it was ok . after i signed it for us both the agent signed and dated it to. after a few months and my wife and i seperated and she made a fuse about me signing her name on the form the agent now says he did not tell me to sign the form. which now would amout to forgery if my wife wanted to pursue the case which she doesn't. do i have a strong case to sue the insurance company for damages based upon the agents lies.

Re: illegal insurance pratices
Your wife "making a big fuss" does not entitle you to sue. You must show some damages accrued as a result of the agent's misrepresentations, e.g. denial of coverage etc. I am not condoning what the agent did, but based on your submission, you were not harmed.
