Legal Question in Insurance Law in Pennsylvania

I live in PA, I have a 16 year old looking to get his permit to drive. Is he automatically covered under my auto insurance, do I have to add him, and will it cost more to add him?

Call your insurance agent to double-check, but when mine turned 16, they were automatically covered by my policy when they got the learner's permit and the insurance did not go up. When they get the license, however, expect the rates to increase. (My office is in Del. but I live in Pa.)
