Sideways Accident in a Single lane road

This accident happened at the intersection of two roads. Both are single lane roads. I was heading straight.

When I reached near the signal, it was already RED. At RED signal, My Car was in the third place from the front. Two cars that were in the first place, one of them wanted to go left & other one was stopped right of it, because the lane is little bit wide to accomodate two cars,side by side. In second place, there was a Car stopped in front of me. I stopped my Car in such a way that mine was inclined slightly to the right.

When the signal went GREEN, I started my Car.As soon as I moved, a Car came rushing from my behind towards my right & hit my right side of the Car near the front bumper,making a dent just above the right front wheel.

After the accident the other car stopped in the front towards my right.

Damages done to my Car: Dent, Front bumper damaged due to hit at its right,Right front Headlight, right indicator got smashed.

Damages that I observed on the other Car: Got a long scratch on left side of the car.

Please tell me is there any chance or way to get the claim from the other Insurance company.

It's hard to tell from your description how the other driver's ins co will view the fault of its insured. Some of it depends on the police report (if there was one), & what the other driver tells the ins co about how the accident happened. If you have collision coverage on your ins policy, & the other ins co refuses to pay for the damage to your car, you may want to proceed with your ins co to get the damage to your car repaired, & let the 2 ins co's fight it out. Also, if the other ins co is willing to pay, make sure you get them to pay for a rental car while your car is being repaired- & don't let them tell you that there is a daily limit if they pay.
