Legal Question in Insurance Law in Pennsylvania
Uninsured motorist wrecks my car, Am I responsible??
I am divorced and my ex was driving one of our vehicles, that at the time I believed was titled in both of our names. He caused an accident with another vehicle, and did not have insurance on the car he was driving. He is now in jail, due to charges against him from the accident. The person who he hit is now persuing me for the damages. Am I responsible for the damages???
Thank You for your help!!!

Re: Uninsured motorist wrecks my car, Am I responsible??
If the car he was driving was insured, & he was driving with the permission of the owner, the insurance co. will cover him. Also, unless he can be considered your "agent" at the time of the accident, you will not be liable. You should turn this matter over to your auto ins co. Good luck!
