political bumper stickers
Is it legal or possible to get a trademark for a bumper sticker such as, ''NOBAMA''?

Re: political bumper stickers
A trademark protects the goodwill of a business and identifies the source of goods/services in commerce. So, if NOBAMA is for a (gee, why do I guess this?) political statement, it's probably not a trademark, since political statements are not a "good" or "service" "in commerce." However, if you want to name the rose you're breeding the NOBAMA rose or name the computer you're inventing the NOBAMA computer, NOBAMA may be a perfectly fine trademark.
