Legal Question in International Law in Pennsylvania

Retrieving Personal Property

A relationship between myself and the man I was living with recently ended. When I moved out, he agreed that I could leave my two miniature horses and the contents of the barn on the property until I had a place to put them. The hores are registered in my name alone. Now I want to go get them, but he will not let me on the property, and will not return my phone calls. What steps do I need to take to retrieve my belongings and my animals? Time is of the essence, as I believe the animals could be being abused. Thank you!

Re: Retrieving Personal Property

If this is an emergency, then your best option would be to get a court injunction to have your horse promptly and legally removed from the premises. This can be obtained thru an emergency ex parte hearing in most emergency cases.
