awarded mutual funds by still in spouse's name

I moved out of state and I was awarded the primerica acct. My ex was to continue to make contributions until a certain amt to be reached. The portfolio is still in his name since he did direct deposits. How do I get the acct in my name so I can keep track of it or add to it?
