Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania
My company was bought out a couple years ago and is now completely owned by another corporation, does this render my non-disclosure agreement with the previous company invalid?

Before I respond to your inquiry, I must state that we have not spoken, I have not reviewed the relevant documents and facts, and I do not represent you. Therefore, my discussion below is not a legal opinion, but is informational only. Finally, my discussion applies only to issues to which Pennsylvania or Federal law apply, unless otherwise specified.
That being said, without having a copy of your contract that includes the non-disclosure agreement, I am unable to determine whether your non-disclosure is still applicable. However, many contracts include a provision which states that all policies of an original contract survive the sale and purchase of your company by another company. While I cannot say this is the case here, it seems likely due to the fact you did not mention you signed a new contract when your company was bought a couple of years ago. That being said, my best advice would be to speak with an attorney who will be able to review your employment agreement.
