if you worked acompany less a year and have congestive heart failure an can only do lite duty work with dr excuse can they terminate you?

You asked about accommodation at work regarding a medical condition.
There are a number of factors involved and this situation would need a careful evaluation by an attorney. The Americans with Disabilities Act along with other state and Federal laws has been interpreted broadly to require employers to accommodate the disability(s) of a disabled employee where that the employer is covered by the respective law, the employee is otherwise qualified for the position, can perform the the essential tasks of the position with or without accommodation. Each one of those "prongs" has a test. A disabled person is defined under the ADA and various other laws and precedents (case law).
