Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

downsizing or termination

I was recently given a involuntary retirement because I was told my job was being eliminated. The same day I was replaced by a temportary worker and she has been there for 3 months. I wasn't given any advance notification. Do have any recourse?

Re: downsizing or termination

There are many factors that must be considered. For example, whether it was a plant wide layoff, or just your job. Also, whether you are over the age of forty, among other factors. You should consult with a qualified lawyer that specializes in labor and employment law to get into the details.
