Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania
Can employer come to my home?
Is an employer allowed to come to my home on a weekend to ask for work to be done when I work a M-F, 9-5 job? And, who is able to see my personal information and use it for this type of activity? I had a project director show up at my home and ask my family if we had paperwork that he needed! This does not seem right and I really felt violated and like my privacy was not honored. I never gave any permission for them to come to my home nor did I hand my home address information out to anyone but HR when I was hired.

Re: Can employer come to my home?
Ahhh, the joys of at will employment. There's not a whole lot of privacy within an organization. By nature or law. If you want privacy, work for yourself and never ask for any loan or government interaction (and I specialize in privacy law).
As an employee, they could have called you and said "come in and get that paperwork for us." And then fired you if you didn't get there fast enough. There are many reasons why at-will-employment is good public policy and a few as to why it is bad public policy. But it is the law.
In my opinion. That project director went above and beyond what he could be expected to do. I know you will think I'm wrong; But you should write a note to that person explaing that while you were angry at the moment, that you appreciate that he/she went out of their way to disturb or inconvenience you in the most minimal manner possible.
