Ex employer refusing to pay me wages

my ex employer is refusing to pay me the money he owes me. he owes me 800 and is refusing to pay. i was told that i coul go after him for theft.

The PA Wage Payment Act requires an employer to pay all wages in a timely manner. If you were an employee (not an independent contractor) and worked and have not been paid, your employer risks criminal as well as civil penalties. Contact the PA dept of Labor and industry or a local employment lawyer.
