Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Can an employer suspend you when you return from FMLA leave and were about to submit for intermittent FMLA? The suspension was for a minor complaint that came in from an outside agency. They also gave me no date to return to work and indicated I may be fired. I have not been told that anything was in my personnel file in regards to other issues, nor have I had previous discipline.
