The important terms like the identity of the contracting parties, the duration of the employemnt contract (two years) and the amount of pay along with some basic terms and conditions of employment seem to have been memorialized as the mutual intent of the parties.
A court can interpret any missing details by manifesting the parties' intent.
Congratulations! Most Pennsylvania employees do not have a contract for a definate term or duration. This means you have what lawyes call a "colorable" case instead of being an immediate victim to the At-Will employment Rule.
good luck

Assuming the written contract is valid , it sounds you would have a viable claim for breach of contract. You should schedule an appointment with an attorney to review the contract. If you are in the Philadelphia area you can contact me for a consultation.

I owuld have to review the contract, but if he signed a contract, he is bound by its terms.
