Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Is my employment contract valid

I recently interviewed with a software-consulting firm that said they wanted to hire me and sent me an unsigned employment contract. It has a set specific starting date. They asked me to sign it and then fax it back to them. They never returned a copy with their signature on it. They then led me to believe that I was now a salaried employee of their firm with such comments as I look forward to working with you, and counting on you as a member of our team. I was told I would start with a client in Maryland, but first I had to have a short interview with the client that my employer described as just a formality with this client. It turned out to be a formal job interview with the hiring manager and 7 of his employees grilling me about my technical skills. Since then I have heard nothing from my so-called employer. He doesnt return voice mail or email.

Is this contract valid and can I sue for wages not paid?
