Generally the statute of limitations in Pennsylvania for negligence suits or the type of intentional tort lawsuit you describe (assault) would be two years from the date of the incident. Your suit must be filed naming the correct parties within that two year time frame. If two years has passed then the ability to bring a lawsuit is lost.`
