Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

I was forced to quit work at a local cemetery after my boss hired her sister. I was hired to assist families with cemetery purchases. I was moved into a telemarketing position where U was cold calling. But I could not take the verbal harassment I was receiving on the phone. I applied for unemployment and was denied. I was told I could appeal in court.

Yes, you may file an appeal to the initial UC determination. The first process is a hearing before a UC master and if you lose there, then the next step would be to file an appeal with the Cour of Common Pleas. There are strict deadlines in filing these appeals. I would suggest that you consult with and retain a lawyer as soon as possible.

If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to call me.
