Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Hours Showed on Paycheck wrong or right?

I just started working as a manager in a fast food restaurant. I believe that position qualifies as an exempt position, Am I correct?

If I'm correct and I'm a salary manager in which my employer requires me to work at least 50h/wk that end up being like 55 or 60 at the end of the week.

My question is it legal for my employer to show 40h/wk worked on my paycheck and on his payroll?

Shouldn't he show at least 50h/wk worked on my paycheck and on his payroll also?

I just don't want to be fooled by thinking that I have to work 50 hours when my employer is claiming that I'm a full time 40 hours salary manager to his payroll.

Thank You Very Much

You may have a violation of the FLSA here. Tampering with hours is often part of a series of actions that are violative of the FLSA. Give our offices a call to discuss.
