independent contractors
Do we have any rights as independent contractors? And when is the client suppose to pay taxes.I was told that if a client pays more than 600. a month that they are responsible to pay taxes especially if you have been working for the person for more then 6mons.

What does your independent contractor agreement say about who pays the taxes? If you are truly an independent contractor why would you think the contracting party would be responsible for withholding and paying taxes? That is the responsibility of an employer. Are you an employee or an independent contractor?
