injury

if you got injured on a job.you got a lawyer and settled.some odd years later, that same injury pops up after you get hurt on another job.is there anything that can be done about the old injurythe new injury is in another place. but now the old injury is starting to bother you can anything be done.

When you settled the case for the old injury, no doubt you signed a release, releasing the defendant from any further claims related to the injury. Therefore, you could not recover from the first defendant. (Not sure what you settled actually...wasn't it covered by workers' comp? Or was it somehow settled as a civil suit?)
