Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

I was let go from my job being told it was more cost effective to hire a cleaning service this was a year ago. I found out that they have let the cleaning service go and gave the job to another employee my question is; should they have offered the job to me again ?

It is a very simple answer; unless they were contractually obligated they have no reason to offer you the position.
