Re: Jobless due to wanting to follow the rules
your should call the pennsylvania wage and hour division 7177874671 or 8009320665
and report them for withholding your paychecks. It is against the law and this arm of the government will investigate and force them to pay you. you should also report them to the state police for violating the hour requirement for truck driving. the good news is that you will probably get your unemployment because they have to prove that you quit. You do not have to prove that you did not quit. good luck.
Re: Jobless due to wanting to follow the rules
In Pennsylvania it is illegal to fire an employee for refusing to break the law. Lying to the labor authorities is also illegal, as is withholding your paychecks.
You should speak with an employment attorney immediately. If you don't know where to find one, you can contact both your local county Bar Association and/or the Pennsylvania Bar Association and they can refer you to one, or you can look up one yourself on services like Martindale.com or on this website. You can also contact me and I can help you find an attorney near you (you're on the other side of the state from me).

You are probably entitled to your paycheck and you may be entitled to overtime. Feel free to e-mail or call our offices.
