lay off or closinng
trying to find out if where i work if we have to be given a 60 day notice being that we dont have 100 employees but its a big greenhouse for over 40 yrs they have been open but the thing is the owner had her family and friends come in to get all flowers and she keeps telling us its a temp lay off but we all know thats not the truth or we would have been done planting poinsettasa and mums what can we do

It depends on the facts of your case. You are right that there is a statutory requirement that certain workers be given notice--and failure to follow that statute can mean money recovery for you. Give our offices a call to discuss your options/recovery.
