Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

is it legal to be told i must take drug counseling before i can return to work? i was slipped a date rte drug and went to the ER and my employer got my medical records, then told me I had to take drug counseling before i could return to work and i refused as i don't have a drug problem... if this is legal, can i claim unemployment, since it was no fault of my own?

Response by attorney Michael Kotik. It is going to depend on the policy you agreed to when you came to work. I would suggest talking to a employment lawyer. You would need to explain more about what had happened in order fro your question to be answered.
