Would a medical issue overide an attendance warning
I was on a Performance Improvement Plan for attendence and revealed that it was because of an untreated medical illness, and that I am now recieving treatment for this illness, does this over ride the PIP plan?

You asked about a negative job action where it might conflict with a medical condition.
you need to speak with an attorney to flesh out the issue fully. Some medical issues comprise disabilities that must be accorded "reasonable accommodation." But this must be brought to the employer's attention before termination.
