Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania
What is my recourse
I quit my job recently and was contacted by my employer shortly afterwards with some questions, and a request that I return to work. When I refused that request, he informed me that he then had no intentions of giving me my last paycheck, and in effect made remarks threatening to attempt to damage my chances of finding employment elsewhere. What can I do?

You should tell your former employer that if he does not pay you what you are owed you will report him to the PA department of Labor for violating the Wage Payment and Collection Law. Also advise him in writing that you will sue him for defamation if he creates problems for you by spreading false information.
