Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Remedies/Penalties for Failure to Pay Wages

On 7/6/00 a District Justice ruled that I had "compelling & necessitous reason" for quitting my job because employer did not pay my wages. Employer was ordered to pay me the amount that had been owed to me since 1/30/00. I have still not received payment. What action should be taken to enforce the order? Am I entitled to interest, damage, attorney fees?

Under the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law you are entitled to interest and counsel fees incurred in collecting unpaid wages. The law also provides that officers of the corporation are personally liable for unpaid wages. You should contact an attorney promptly.
