Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania
I have reported a claim of gender based discrimination with HR a week ago, since then I have been threatened by my immediate supervisor, berated, slandered and defamed. This person has come unstable and I am now fearful for my safety. what is my recourse, can I resign and collect UE?

It is unlawful to be retaliated against for reporting discrimination. Moreover, if you resign, you can expect your employer to challenge an unemployment compensation claim. Whether or not you were subject to unlawful discrimination or whether you are entitled to unemployment compensation can not be determined without further information.
