return of personal property

i need to know what course of action I can take for my previous employer refusing to return my personal belongings after i was terminated from my job. i have submitted two written requests. can i take legal action and seek monetary judgement for their actions. it has been 8 months. thank you

Bring an action in Replevin. Your lawyer may have some other ideas, too. Expect to pay 500 to start and probably at least that much again as a fee. Court costs will be under 200 to file and serve. Your counsel may have an idea on how to sue the Employer for money on top of the return of the items.
