Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Salary Disclosure

Dear Sir, a few months ago the president of our company decided he wanted to take advantage of the Jobs Creation Act of 2004. I was asked to submit hours worked against jobs received. In the process of their determining actual dollars paid to me, my salary was negligently disclosed to other company employees. I am a senior manager and would like to know if I have any legal recourse. Thank you for your consideration

Re: Salary Disclosure

No doubt you may; however, the larger question is how have you been damaged? You need to clearly articulate how this disclosure has harmed you in a monetary way in order to collect anything (unless winning a lawsuit with no recovery is something you are interested in). Also, is sueing your employer good for your career? Are you planning to or have you alreay quit? Answer these questions before deciding on what you wish to do.
