Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Temp. Agency Contracts?

I am starting a small temp agency for professional photographers and videographers. It will be a service that will provide Assistants to such professionals on a per assignment basis, generally one day per job. I would like to know what contracts I would need for both my contracted assistants and for my clients, to prevent a client from ''stealing'' one of my contracted employees for other jobs, basically cutting me out of the loop.

Re: Temp. Agency Contracts?

You asked about contracts necessary for starting a specialized temporary employment agency.

Your question suggests more questions than just the simple query that you posed. This is the bread and butter of what business lawyers do.

Cutting corners and using forms you grabbed from someplace else will leave you exposed to the very problems you seek to avoid. Instead you need to engage an attorney to design documents that will protect you against those risks that you foresee and also those that you don't foresee.

What about all the other issues that you have to deal with? Have you got a corporate form? Are you properly licensed and registered?

You need to create a relationship with a business attorney that can help you with any type of business-legal issues.

It just so happens that I am a business lawyer and would appreciate the opportunity to help you launch your business. Feel free to contact me.

Regards,

Roger
